Reptile Humidity Control

Many reptiles require specific humidity levels to stay healthy, and maintaining these levels during transport can be challenging. For species that thrive in high humidity environments, it’s important to monitor and maintain appropriate moisture levels in the travel container or terrarium.

If the journey is short, humidity may not fluctuate too much, but for longer trips, you may need to mist the container periodically. Pack a spray bottle to keep humidity levels consistent. If necessary, place a damp towel inside the container to add moisture. For reptiles that need lower humidity, ensure proper ventilation and avoid adding excess moisture. Keeping humidity under control during travel helps prevent respiratory issues and ensures your reptile stays comfortable.
