A reliable filtration system is also crucial to provide adequate oxygenation and remove harmful toxins from the water. Keeping the water temperature stable between 72°F and 82°F and maintaining a pH level between 7.0 and 8.4 will help your swordtails thrive.

Another important tip is to feed your swordtails a balanced diet. While they are omnivores, a varied diet that includes high-quality flake food, along with live or frozen foods like brine shrimp and bloodworms, will ensure they receive the necessary nutrients.
